Dr. Ali Ahmed is the CEO of Qult Technologies. He is currently associated with the Department of Electrical Engineering at Information Technology University, Lahore as an Associate Professor and the Director of Center of Artificial Intelligence and Computational Science (CACTuS). He is the CTO of Tiermax AI. He is a member of the advisory committee to the President of Pakistan on emerging technologies including artificial intelligence. He also serves as a technical consultant to local and international tech companies and software houses. He is leading a team of data scientists and machine learning engineers delivering innovative and creative AI solutions for the fintech, marketing, and petrochemical industries. He also delivered a wide variety of solutions for predictive maintenance of machines in IoT. He has developed a product for AI-powered marketing solutions to access the commercial value of several sports bodies and brands.

His current research interests include machine learning, computer vision, and computing. His research work has been published in prestigious venues such as Journal of Machine Learning Research (JMLR), NeurIPS, IEEE Transaction on Information Theory, Journal of Applied and Computational Harmonic Analysis. He has also an extensive experience in developing and implementing algorithms for industrial solutions in predictive maintenance.
