Today, the industry is outtted with robots, cameras and several kinds of other sensors that collectively perform picking, packing and transferring packages with no human presence or oversight. Without this, if 500 workers are required in a factory instead, only ve technicians would be required to service the machines and keep them working. As industrial technology grows increasingly pervasive, this wave of automation and digitization is being labelled Industry 4.0, as in the fourth industrial revolution. Articial Intelligence using computer vision has a key role in scanning and intelligently detecting the defective product running in the assembly line. The whole process is monitored using image processing/computer vision where deep neural network architecture is utilized for image segmentation and classication of a defective product. Further, the Block chain and distributed ledger technologies aim to unite data from a companys various processes and stakeholders into a universal data structure.
